ClimBEco Graduate Research School - summer status

ClimBEco is a cross-disciplinary research school

ClimBEco is a research school funded by the strategic research areas MERGE and BECC, as well as the Faculty of Science in Lund.

In ClimBEco 22 PhD-students was accepted for the years 2013-2015 and for the next period 2014-2016 starting in August they are 22. The annual summer meeting will take place at Falsterbo Kursgård 27-28 August. On day one, special focus will be placed on the latest IPCC reports and the programme will include presentations and workshops. On day two, there will be opportunities for student presentations as well as work in groups on issues related to “interdisciplinary research”. The group work will serve as a follow-up for those that participated in the ClimBEco introduction course pre-ceeding the summer meeting, and for those that are one year into ClimBEco as an opportunity to develop the process of interdiscplinary thinking and working methods.

ClimBEco was launched in the spring of 2011 and the enrolled PhD students participate in a two-year programme.
