PhD student Behnaz Pirzamanbin has been awarded twice for the paper "Modelling Spatial Compositional Data: Reconstructions of past land cover and uncertainties", both as winner and honorary mention.

Congratulation to Environmental Science PhD student Behnaz Pirzamanbin and MERGE colleagues, who has been awarded twice for the paper Modelling Spatial Compositional Data: Reconstructions of past land cover and uncertainties.

Co-authors are Johan Lindström, Anneli Poska and Marie-José Gaillard.

The paper was awarded winner of the Climate Corporation award for the 2016 SBSS (section in Bayesian Statistical Science) student paper awards and recognized with an Honorary Mention in the 2016 ENVR Student Paper Competition.
