During the two days the latest exciting research within the different research areas of MERGE was presented. Also, the research school ClimBEco was presented and a number of new ideas for courses were put forward during the meeting.

The MERGE board has had a strategic discussion during the fall on the future development of MERGE. The outcomes of the discussions and planned initiatives were also presented. During a discussion session, the participants were asked to discuss relevant new research topics, and topics to organize MERGE workshops around. Many interesting ideas and suggestions were identified and will be taken into consideration in the continued work with a strategy for MERGE 2018-2021.
